Saturday March 20 EMA's Annual Spring Fling 10am - 5pm
The shops of Eureka will unveil their Spring Merchandise, and celebrate with discounts, drawings, and a sidewalk sale in Old Town Eureka. We will also be collecting cash donations to support those affected by the devastating earthquake in Haiti.

History
The Missouri Pacific Railroad started service here on July 19,1853. It is said that builders of the railroad track came around the bend on the east side of the present site of Eureka and looked westward at the level land with no rocks and very little dirt to move. They cried out "Eureka," which translated from the Greek means "I've found it!," and the city of Eureka was born.
